e pluribus haiku 2014

many moments, one journey

-875 haiku from fifty states and the District of Columbia
-all haiku are in the American 5-7-5 syllable format
-whereas the traditional haiku all have a kigo, or season clue, these have both a season clue and a geographical clue, because North America is so diverse that such clues as "snow" can refer to several seasons in some places, yet be a distinct winter clue in others, or be unheard of. This volume explores and celebrates the diversity of the US, especially geographically, but also reflects intimate knowledge of its people, its customs, and its culture, as it is experienced by a traveler.

Available at Amazon, $4.80 + shipping
